We are seeking a wide range of performers, approximately ages 25 to 70+, to reflect the characters at all stages of their lives. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the stage, this is a welcoming and rewarding way to get involved.

Love Letters by A.R. Gurney is a beautifully simple and deeply moving story told through a lifetime of correspondence between two people. Spanning decades, their letters reveal a relationship filled with humour, longing, missed chances, and enduring connection. It’s a quiet, powerful piece that reminds us how the written word can hold a lifetime of emotion.

🎭 What Makes It Unique
Unlike traditional plays, Love Letters is performed as a staged reading—no memorization, no elaborate staging—just two actors, side by side, bringing the story to life through voice, nuance, and connection. This production offers a rare opportunity for actors of all experience levels to focus purely on storytelling and character. Even though there are only 2 roles, we are looking for different couples for each show.
